Somewhere on the musical map, where the twang of Classic Country meets the grit of Southern Soul, Hank Wonder marks a detour down a sonic stretch of unpaved road. Together since 2013, the Boston-based trio of Annie Bartlett (fiddle and viola), Darren Buck (vocals), and Michael Loria (guitar) continue to craft a soulful blend of Americana that’s equal parts down-home and gussied up. The trio’s debut album, Little Mysteries was produced by Charlie Rose (The Mammals, Elephant Revival, Railroad Earth, Barnstar!) and released in 2017. Two years later, they returned to the studio with Zachariah Hickman (Josh Ritter, Rodney Crowell, Ray LaMontagne, Mark Erelli, Barnstar!) at the helm. Initially stalled by a global pandemic, the 10-track Waylaid was released in 2021.
During their twelve years together, Hank Wonder has performed at Club Passim, The Cabot Theatre, Cary Hall, The Center of the Arts in Natick, Paradise Rock Club, The Burren, Lizard Lounge, Toad, Portsmouth Music Hall Loft, and the perennial Fresh Grass, Falcon Ridge, and Back Porch music festivals. Concert reviewer James Gerke once described Hank Wonder’s live show as “a musical journey that zigzags across geographic and metaphorical locations”, and Boston radio host Perry Persoff wrote that Waylaid’s songs will make you “feel like you are loading up the camper van for a trip.” Songs from both albums have been streamed over 47.5K times, and enjoy regular airplay on independent radio stations across the United States.

Please join us at the opening reception of Art From Inside to hear Kelly Brotzman, the Executive Director of the Prison Book Program, give her remarks on access to books in US prisons and jails.
For over 50 years, PBP has provided free books to individuals in prisons across the U.S., with 2022 seeing over 53,000 books sent to readers nationwide. Art From Inside displays artwork created as expressions of gratitude from these readers, often depicting reading as a form of escape and self-growth. The pieces in this exhibit showcase the detailed techniques that can be achieved with the simplest tools, most commonly ballpoint pen and pencil. Art from Inside shows how much talent, creativity and human potential resides behind bars.

Join us for the Fall Art Show featuring dd Design!
ddDesigns can be defined by one word, whimsical. Using bright, bold, vivid colors, Devin creates artwork that perks people up, uplifts them, and makes people smile. The designs themselves seem 3 dimensional, as if they are popping off the canvas.
Devin was once described as “The Whimsical Artist”, and it stuck. After Devin creates a piece of art, she always names it, but she is so interested in hearing what others “see” in her art. Art is subjective, no two people will see it the same way. Her desire is to inspire young people to pursue their dreams and to dream in color!

The Wolff Sisters is fronted by three sisters -- Rebecca on acoustic guitar, Kat on the keys, Rachael on electric guitar, and all three on lead vocals and harmonies. Raised on Bob Dylan, The Band, and Little Feat, the sisters crafted their sound around a honky tonk piano in the living room of their childhood home. With a talented cast of rotating drummers and bass players, The Wolff Sisters are a rag tag group of hardworking individuals that bring a big sound and timeless songs. Their music is honest and genre defying, but still rooted in traditional rock and Americana storytelling. New England Music Award winner for Americana Artist of the Year 2021 and Boston Music Award winner for Americana Artist of the Year 2020, the band’s electrifying live performance and unique sound continues to gain momentum and recognition from their hometown of Boston and beyond. The band is on tour promoting their fourth studio album 'Dark River.'

This mini art show invites viewers to slow down, reflect, and find beauty in their own world. Through her paintings, Atefeh strives to portray the beauty hidden in the ordinary, a cup of coffee steaming in the morning light, a colorful stack of French macaroons, or two little red apples resting side-by-side. These paintings are a gentle reminder to savor life's simple pleasures and treasure the joy found in everyday objects.
